The Navy is establishing an end-to-end process to ensure the compliance of programs, systems, and initiatives with FORCEnet/Net-Centric criteria to support efficient management of resources, as well as successful implementation of Joint Interoperability. Global Information Grid (GIG) integration, and Net-Centric Operations and Warfare. The GIG represents a globally interconnected, end-to-end set of information capabilities and processes for collecting, processing, and managing information on demand to warfighters, policymakers, and support personnel. This FORCEnet Compliance Forum will provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of FORCEnet background, status, and planning, with particular focus on critical processes and products regarding FORCEnet Compliance across both the Warfighting (Tactical) and Support (Business/Non-Tactical) domains.
