Developing Seamless Information Exchange on the Battlefield

Conference: 28 - 29 June, 2006
Jurys Washington Hotel (Dupont Circle)  ·  Washington, DC

Reducing kill chain time, greater precision target accuracy, and increased ability to eliminate enemy threats to our ground forces with superior air power from above

  • Gain insight into requirements and emerging capabilities
  • Discuss precision air targeting and reducing kill chain to seconds
  • Evaluate targeting pod limitations
  • Mapping operational doctrine for future air campaigns
  • Discuss battlespace management
  • Matching air and ground requirements with capabilities
  • Overcoming integration obstacles and maximizing legacy system

U.S. Air Power has not been challenged since the 1950s and continues to dominate the skies during times of conflict. This dominance has yielded a reduction in kill chain time, greater precision target accuracy, and an increasing ability to eliminate enemy foe in an emerging urban warfare environment. Threats have been stabilized, collateral damage has been reduced, and most importantly, lives have been saved. Through information exchange, American and coalition forces have been successful in eliminating enemy threats using soldier and marine efforts on the ground, assisted by Close Air Support (CAS). Urban warfare has changed the way our forces fight as well as the way we view the kill box - the need for quick and responsive air power to eliminate threats has steadily increased.

INFONEX DEFENSE is pleased to announce the upcoming conference, Close Air Support/Close Combat Attack: Developing Seamless Information Exchange on the Battlefield. You will learn and discuss air operation doctrine, as well as air-ground interoperability efforts as it pertains to supporting soldiers and marines on the ground. The conference will also highlight key issues including the limitations on targeting pods, allied air-ground interoperability, fratricide, UAVs for CAS missions, and furthering information exchange on the battlefield.

The forum will also provide an opportunity for you to meet key senior Air Force personnel and discuss Close Air Support and the offensive air power effort. The conference will feature a senior level speaking faculty and will include targeted briefings featuring leading information on DoD air support efforts. Register for the event and learn about
